The Greater Cincinnati Police Historical Society is “preserving the history of law
enforcement in the Greater Cincinnati area” at The Greater Cincinnati Police
Museum.  The Museum displays artifacts and researches the history of more than one
hundred local, township, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies serving
more than 600 documented communities in Boone, Butler, Campbell, Clermont,
Dearborn, Hamilton, Kenton, and Warren Counties of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

On a mission to convey an understanding of aspects and history of law enforcement,
The Greater Cincinnati Police Historical Society operates a library and archives and
research facility to encourage study into and inspire appreciation of law enforcement.
The museum explores the lives of the men and women who have served our tri-state
communities; the development of uniforms, weapons, vehicles, animal partners,
equipment, and vehicles; how law enforcement has changed over the years; and how
the region influenced policing within 200 miles in every direction. The Wall of Honor
displays pictures and shares stories about the deaths, and the lives, of officers who
made the ultimate sacrifice.

Located at 760 Freeman Avenue in Cincinnati (OH), the Museum is open Tuesdays,
Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Admission is free.
