What's Going On : Summer Sunday for Welcome House

Northern Kentucky’s Welcome House Outreach is thrilled to announce that they will be
hosting their Summer Sunday event on Sunday, August 7th, 2016 from 5:00 pm-9:30 pm at
Grandview Tavern & Grille in Fort Mitchell, KY.
Welcome House Outreach (W.H.O.) will host a fabulous casual summer evening with live
music by the Turkeys, cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction that is sure to
delight all guests. Grand raffle tickets are $50 and available at the door and on the Welcome
House website (need not be present to win). The prizes include $1,500 cash, a trip to Boyne,
Michigan, and two bar stools made from the original seats at Great American Ballpark. This
year Welcome House is happy to announce that Dan Wells from FOX 19 will emcee this
year’s event.
Welcome House of Northern Kentucky has been serving the community since 1982,
providing a continuum of services that end homelessness and promote stability for each
person they serve. Programs at Welcome House address the variety of needs of those
living in poverty or on the verge of homelessness. Welcome House strives to guide clients
from housing uncertainty to stability.
Welcome House Executive Director Linda Young said, “I appreciate all of the support for
the mission of Welcome House and those that are served. I look forward to seeing
everyone on August 7th!”
