"What To Do? Review" : Night on the Serengeti 2014

Over the last ten years, Village Life Outreach Project, Inc., a Cincinnati based non-profit, has been
on a mission to unite communities to promote Life, Health and Education. Working in
conjunction with local leaders from the villages of Roche, Nyambogo and Burere in Tanzania, East
Africa to develop their own priorities and receive training to improve conditions, impacts have
included 19 service learning and volunteer trips to Tanzania with community leaders,
professionals and students from the U.S.; opening the doors to the first-ever healthcare center in
Roche Village to provide basic healthcare to more than 20,000 villagers; engaging hundreds of
Cincinnati students in Village Life education projects that share experiences with students in
Tanzania through art, vocabulary, and lessons of global citizenship; and more.
The Night on the Serengeti 10 Year Diamond Gala celebrates the 10 year anniversary of Village
Life’s mission and passion. A fabulous night is planned to recognize Village Life’s work and set the
pace for the next 10 years and beyond.
The celebration is set for Friday, September 12, 2014 at 7:00PM at the Hyatt Regency (151 W 5th
St, Cincinnati, Ohio). The Diamond Gala and experience includes:
• a cocktail reception,
• an evening with plated dinner,
• a silent auction including authentic African artifacts,
• exotic animals courtesy of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, and
• awards and recognition;
General admission tickets are $125/person.
