Tender Mercies, one of Cincinnati’s oldest and most life-changing non-profit organizations,
continues the celebration of the tastes and sounds of the growing Over-the-Rhine community
at the 3rd Annual Taste of OTR. This event is produced by Tender Mercies to benefit homeless
adults with mental illness.
With John Morrell as the presenting sponsor, the Taste will be held on Saturday, August 29th
from 11am to 11pm in Washington Park and will showcase local craft beer, restaurant and food
truck tastings, and shopping that make OTR a vibrant cultural center of Cincinnati. Home
event sponsors are Kroger and PNC and media sponsors are Q102 and Cincy Magazine. This
event is also supported by Dignity Sponsors - Mannequin Boutique, KMK Law, Cincinnati Bell,
Ohio National Financial Services and Western & Southern Financial Group in addition to many
supporters and friends.
This year will be the first ever Taste of OTR VIP Experience, sponsored by Sysco, Sam Adams,
Angry Orchard, Rhinegiest and Rodney Strong Vineyards with Taft’s Ale House, Che!/Alfio’s,
Nation Kitchen and Bar, Sweet Petit, The Eagle, Huit Craft BBQ and 1 more to come! VIP
tickets are $50 in advance, $60 at the door.
Donations of shampoo and bodywash (no travel size bottles) will be accepted at the Taste.
With events like the Taste of OTR, Tender Mercies is able to transform the lives of more than
200 homeless adults each year with permanent housing and programs.
